I`m a little surprised that Maverick Man hasn`t offered the front spoilers in Carbon Fiber .

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    Last time he had 2 73's and a 75.

You should see the GTO parts that he makes! even more impressive than the maverick ones!

So the Camaro spoiler busted off months ago. I left it alone because I don't need it in the winter, but the hot weather's coming soon so I went ahead and got this '70 Mach/Boss version.

What do y'all think of this vs. the one I had on there before? Or if you don't like either of them can you suggest something else? This one fits better than the Camaro spoiler, but not much.

I liked the first one better. this one dips down too much on the outside edges. Could it maybe be trimmed where it mounts to the front valance? probably not bacause thats where the flange is to screw it on. It just looks like it fits wrong.

Yeah... It does fit wrong. The main difference between the two is not so much that the edges angle down too much on this one; they're about the same angle on the edges. It's that the middle comes up too much. If I let the spoiler do what it wants to do, it would be nearly parallel with the ground. That doesn't seem like it would be functional, nor would it look right to me.

I really wish we could still get a front spoiler that just fit right. Wonder how many more of these things I'm gonna buy...

True. I'll see if I can find a chance to get some better ones.

Another nice side efect from putting the spoiler on, was that I noticed significantly more front stability on the highway, with the 'stang.

Agreed, that's definitely a part of it. I think it's because the same low pressure area it creates that helps move air through the radiator is also creating down force due to the higher pressure on top. Probably helps a hood scoop do its job, too.

Now to find one that freakin' fits and looks right!

Valid point. But it's not so much that it overheats without it, it just runs cooler with it. AC works better too. When it's 95+ outside and I run the air conditioner, that's when it gets hotter than I want it to be. 220, 225... Turn off the AC and it's fine again, but I would rather leave it on 'cause, you know, it's 95+ degrees outside. With the spoiler it never gets anywhere near that high.

I put the same spoiler you have on my mav and I love it. I havnt got to drive it much to see the differances...but I love the look. Ill be keeping mine regaurdless of performance. I want to compliment it with the taller grabber spoiler that someone was talking about making a few weeks back. Sorry its a bit off topic.
