sdm mavericks

On the sdm mavericks where the cars made here and then shipped to mexico and mod, or where they built in Mexico? If known where were they built?

Since one has never been found....or seen in person. I guess we'll never know.

 

The problem is: that it does reconize that at least one has made it's way into the U.S. (1986) And someone, somewhere has to know atleast what was the basic platform Carroll started with. Because from the articales I have found ( mostly here) it sounds like he just took 300 finished mavericks ( comets from the pix I have seen ) and added on aftermarket parts. Which I am fine with, I just would like to know if the cars themselfs were made in Mexico or at what plant here?

 

From what I have read....Carroll had nothing to do with it.

 

You would think, they would have been built in Mexico (? If anyone in Mexico has one, maybe they can tell us where they were built).
Like Craig said, they had nothing to do with Carroll Shelby, other than a licensing agreement to use the "Shelby" name.
