I got my headliner in now, also installed my home made package tray... Test fitted my dash cap, and finished one of my seats (71 Mach 1 covers) also finished my disc brakes and put my new wheels and tires on....

Nice work, Ken! What'd you use for the package tray? I made mine from some leftover 1/8" ABS sheet, sprayed it with vinyl texture, and finished it with SEM black.

Nice work! I bought those exact seat covers. I was a little annoyed that the comfortweave isn't actually comfortweave.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but who makes the vinyl texture and where do you get it?

I used 1/8 inch house thermal board cut to shape and glued black vinyl on it...

I knew it was fake before I bought them, but I really don't have the budget for the real thing right now...

Looking good Ken. When you get to the point of painting it, will you be repainting it the factory red with I'm guessing it had black stripes, or will you be doing something different?

Yea, me either. I still would have bought them for the price. I was quoted $350-500 per seat to professionally cover them.

Yes Red with a Black vinyl top and Black stripes, That is what my marti report says it should be... As for the stripes I'm thinking something different. Maybe along the lines of the Kmart street Beast or similar, and where the stripe falls off the fender instead of a broken stripe I'll put the Gabber logo in it's place.....

I used the Flex-Tex from Urethane Supply Co in Alabama...

DOH! Sorry to hear it broke, Ken.
