window gasket sealer ?

    what is the right sealer to use with the windshield and rear window rubber gasket ? I'm ready to put my rear glass back in, I have to buy a windshield so i'm gonna let them install that...

    I would offer the guy a few bucks to see if he will install the back glass for you while there.

    Does liquid butyl sealer dry or harden? I need to insall my rear window but will eventually remove it when I decide to change the headliner/ interior color (maybe a while down the road). It doesn't rain much here and when it does my car will be garaged. Maybe I can get away without sealing it until I've finished the interior. Thanks.
