Yes it does work and I'll be posting a video soon about doing the whole peel and seal treament for sound deadening. I called the manufacture and spoke with the rep which was funny to hear his reaction. After asking about any toxic fumes he was waiiitttt a minute! your using this stuff for sound deadening. Appears that they get several calls a month about using it for sound deadening, and have yet to receive any complaints on using the stuff.
Used it in the truck to eliminate the door rattle from the subs hitting. Worked like a charm. Been on for several years now with no issues. Pic of the install - Just the first row.
on another forum i go on there are several guys that have tried it. Some have had no issues, while others have noticed a strong tar smell when the car heats up.
OK, I'll risk looking silly, what is it, tar with foil backing? nevermind, I searched it. anybody put on a panel that gets a lot of heat, like the trunk lid or roof?

...yes... some specs.... the thickness is the only diff. i see and at that, they are within...10/1000ths of each other. Dynamat is 60/1000ths thick... Fatmat Rattle trap Xtreame is 70/1000th... Peel & Seal is 60/1000th... i put 2 layers on (the hot spots) and have 120/1000ths that is way better and cheaper...
