new front suspension

    i saw an article in a mag tis past summer when i was in afghanistan and the comet featured had a totally differant front suspension ie. no towers anyone have info on that set up such as who makes it ,how much,and how complicated it is? any help would be great

    no shock towers means it was most likely a mustang II conversion. Plenty of stuff on this site for that mod.

    socal that is the car and article thanx mustang II suspension lets me put a 351 in my mav with no fitment issues right?

    Using the Mustang II suspension allows you to remove the shock towers for more room. "Shaving" a portion of the shock tower allows you to keep your stock suspension. If your here enough it gets discussed often. If I find a good example I'll post it for you. If you look at some of the older project threads you'll find some pics.

    i used to be here alot but the army keeps us busy lol but i gonna be here as much as possible cuz i headin back to the states soon and gotta get my wife and my mav done so we can start drag racin

    so if i am just puttin a 351 in it which is the beter way to go ?the mustangIIor the shaved towers this is for street and strip so i am interested in opinions please give me them cuz i want to hear what everyone has to say

    If you can afford the rod and custom set up, that is the way to go... They have two versions coil spring and coil over..... This set up is on my wish list....
