...quarter window seal replacement...

    what are you Guys and Gals using for replacement seals?
    I have seen and heard of a few different seals being used. i was thinking we could log a little data on this subject...:yup:

    what seal...what car...what year and what mods. if any had to be done...a pic. would be nice (before and after)

    What cha got???

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    I read that Thack used some out of a 82 Honda. But I still have yet to find one in a junkyard out here. I asked several guys who have restored civics of that generation and no one is reproducing them. But they all said the stock ones still hold up great. So thats promising, if you can find some that is.

    The other thing I was wondering, is the Honda weather striping similar to the mav/comet dose it have the built in molding or are you just gluing it to the outside edge ? I put wind lace around my quarter windows for now just to hold in my head liner....

    It has a pinch edge like the factory rubber

    Just try to find some nice original ones in good shape.
