    It's 2 piece that comes off easily....You can see one of the quick releases {gold colored} in the pic...2 per side....It came from Joe Gibbs racing

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    Cleaned up the wiring, and put it in wire loom. Got the driveshaft bolted in. Now sitting drinkin a cold bud looking at it.

    Coolant Flush and Fill

    Doing a coolant flush and fill. Where do you get replacement hoses? Looking at the local parts stores online doesn't give oe replacement results. I'll go to Napa to see if they have them. The old coolant (or lack of) was pretty bad. I was watching a video on youtube on the subject and one guy used CLR in addition to the flush chemical (not together). Any reason not to use CLR to remove stubborn rust? Also, it seems the "flush and fill" kits are harder to come by. The Autozone by my house no longer carries them. They wouldn't say why but probably EPA...

    I put my back glass in (that was easy) Thank goodness my ebay gasket was the right one...lol... Also painted my trunk floor with truck bed coating.... looks good :)

    Put on another Holley carb and drove it to work, got my carb from Eric Mathis of Mathis Racing Carbs...it runs great now!!
