That is a nice Explorer you got there ... clean! I would bet there is a 3.55 or 3.73 posi in there, too.
3.73's and yes!! But I sold the wheels today (I think for $150) The more I read, it seems that the 96 Explorers have lots of good parts on them.
That is gonna be a fun car, and because your not doing the same full on resto you did on your other one, you might drive it...lol... (NO TRAILER QUEEN) I love your 73 but that is why I can't have a fully restored car, I would just tear it up by driving it all the time... Great progress by the way...

Looks like you've got a bit more work than me.... Those 2 holes that are around the area of the headlight switch, does it look like they were stamped into the torque box, to make it easier to get the screws in?
Yes, they look as though they were stamped. When I replace that torque box plate, I am not going to put the holes back. I will just drill out the screw holes once I get to replacing the carpet. I might move the high/low beam switch around a little bit.

Thanks Roger! I haven't done anything since I posted those pic's, I've been too busy with other things..
If it would stop raining for more than 2 days, I'll bring the Explorer home and pull everything off it I need, and send the rest to the scrap yard. Tomorrow, I'm going to pick up my engine hoist, and stand from where it ended up after one of my friends that had it died (last fall) So, I should be able to start on this project again soon.
