Streamliner, Did you make your drive shaft loop, or is there one sold that will fit a Maverick?

1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
Installed clutch pedals (stock set) now to take them back off. I marked where to drill the hole for the master cylinder.

Typed some ID labels for my wires I installed w/ my aux fuse box, speakers and stero using Microsoft Excel. I like my wires recognizable instantly w/o trying to figure out or tracing them. I figured I may as well do it while I had the pack tray, floor heat duct and stero out to replace the heater box. I also installed a pilot light "gnr LED" for my elec. engine fan, I like to know when/if it kicks on/off.
The temp got to high of 40 deg today but was'nt bad working under dash with a 100watt lamp and garage doors closed.
My next chance to work on it, I hope to install the heater hoses to the new heater core and see some heat for the first time since I've owned the car -20 months.
I want to be riding/CRUIZING when the time comes - not workin under a dash.:drive:

I got it from a friend who bought it for his vintage race Shelby but sold the car without using it....I'm guessing it was some sort of universal one since there was no labeling, instructions or anything printed in the box....Had to modify it just a little but it worked out good

Received my new 302 block bought on Craigslist for my Bogus Boss. Also yesterday got my 2 now 450 cfm Holleys, velocity stacks, for the tunnel ram, black AN fittings and yellow sparkplus wires to go with the gold Morroso valve covers. Going for the 80' pro street look. I took enough crap for the six cyl and 15.5 inch Sportsman Pros tucked and slammed. Putting that tax return to good use. Trying to get it ready for Hot August Nights in Long Beach.
