Trim is off the windshield and rear window. Going to replace all the clips. Even though many did not break, they do look like they could break anytime. So why put the trim back on with old ones, if I have to buy some clips.

I will also be removing the door trim before we go to paint. Are these the same clips that are used on the windshield? Also how do you remove the boomerages?

Anyone know the total number of clips needed for the windshield, rear window and doors (2Dr). Not suppose to do stairs for awhile (bruised cartilage in knee) and am trying to order from AutoKrafters.

Keep as many of your original window trim clips as you can, they are hard to find the right size, and the replacement ones suck!
As for the other clips, they are different. If you have a Ford service manual, it'll show you whats where.

door trim...if you are refering to that around the...window opening...it has no clips. you just tear it off and leave it off...:yup:
boomerangs...there are 2 nuts behind the side rear panels and 1 screw on the outside top... i remove mine from the trunk. reach up in the inside of the quarter panel.

that knee should be fine by the time you get anything from...AutoKrafters...

Actually talking about the trim that runs the base of the window and on top of the door. It looks like it should have clips as one is broken and the trim is buckling up from the door. I see the clip stud underneath. It looks alot like the ones that are around the windshield. That is why I thought it might be the same clip as the windshield.

Also, looking at ebay - are these original factory clips. Just trying to figure why the bid is so high on these when other clips are 1/3 the price.

Oh yeah - everyone is advertising them as 69 - 71 clips. Did the clips change? The picture looks just like the clips off my 76.
