I want to restore my rear deck pack tray covering. It was black at one time and has been bleached white frm UV light.
I want some ideas what's used normally to accomplish this?

I used some of the cheapo black auto carpet from WalMart over mine. It's low pile and thin so it's easy to work with, and looks almost factory back there.

I used thin foam and black material like the rear seat on my Comet. wrapped it around the board. Glued and stapled it with short staples.

You can buy a brand new (reproduction) rear panel. Either with or without speakers. Auto krafters has them.

I cut a new panel out of Masonite and covered it with 1/4" foam and headliner material ordered to match.

I will have to check out this idea. I think all I need is the covering. I don't think the panel is damaged. I can't say cuz I have'nt removed the covering yet. Im replacing the speakers and I will pull all that stuff out from the inside since I have the rear seat out for recovering. Thanks for the ideas/info. guys.(y)
