Auto Custom Carpet. I think they make most if the carpet out there anyway so might as well buy it direct from them.
Um...maybe not, they want $227 on their website. http://www.accmats.com/Commerce/Search.aspx if they're making most carpets for our cars wouldn't be ok to get the best price on ebay?
Wow! They have gone up almost double in the last 5 years. I would definitely keep a check on eBay. It usually shows up for way less.
Here's one in my "watching" folder. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390278366237&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
socal, that is my exact concern...all the ones on ebay I have looked at say the same thing 69-77 (like your watch list), I just messaged the guys to see if they differ from year to year, will let you know...
and...they say the carpet is "hot molded to a floor pan" wonder if they could hot mold me up some floor pans instead of carpet
Mike, The only difference is the extra material for the later models with the hump for the Cat converter. They determine which mold you need (with or without cat hump) based on the year you request. That is how I understand it.
exactly my point, after 75 needs to be a different mold. Not according to these guy's: "We sell a lot of these and have never had an issue with fit. We show that 70-77 all take the same mold." (from Aardvarkmotors) where as autocarpetoriginals1 say's "we have a different mold for 75, 6 & 7 and can do whatever color/material you want" http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...20723800900&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123 I dont know, seems like I am leaning toward the later not the former... thoughts????
The link you posted, if you read it, it's says their carpet are ACC. A friend of mine is a ACC dealer, he buys directly from them. I should get some pricing from him....
Dave, that would be great. not sure which is correct for 76 either cut/pile or loop...i'm thinking i need black cut pile...right? 1 piece molded.
