Still trying to determine if the clips used on the windshield are the same clips I need to use under the top trim on the doors. Below are a few picures where I have tried to show the stud under the trim. It is the same size as the studs surrounding the windshield and back glass. The Ford shop manual/DVD I got off of EBAYdoesn't give me the part number only shows a badly draw, half hidden picture of the clip.

The clips that hold the windshield trim on, are not the same as the ones that hold the door trim on.

Does anyone have a picture of these clips or know where to get them. The previous owner tried to use thick doublesided tape to keep it down. Didn't work well.

How many of the clips do you need? I have some. There is also a small metal clip at the front that is held on with a philllips screw. There is also a metal clip at the rear. Do you have these two metal clips?

Does your door have the welded pins along the top?

The clips on the ends that are held in place by the screw seem fine.

All the center clips on the passenger-side door are missing. I haven't tried to determine what is holding the driver-side door molding (or what is holding down the molding that butts up against the boomerange) Those moldings are really tight against the body. I didn't want to mess with a good thing. I need to try to peek under the drivers-side to determine if I need any for that side. I intended to remove all the molding before paint, but if I can't replace the clips, then I guess I will just tape it up.

You should be able to look along the edge of the molding and see if the plastic clips are still under the molding.

Do you have the the welded on "studs" on the door that the plastic clips hook to? In nthe picture it looks like you do.

If I can get out to the garage, I have the trim pulled from my car, and I should be able to get a picture of them.

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday. Planning my son's Eagle Ceremony on Sunday. Lots to do. His 16th b-day on Thursday, Eagle Scout ceremony Sunday, Drivers licens test next Thurs.

Yes all the studs are in place on the passenger side door. It looks like there are 4 studs on that side. I still haven't had a chance to look at the drivers side door. She is at a friends having the plug and wires changed since I am out of commission for 6 months.

So I am guessing I need 4 to 8 clips. Craig let me know what you need for the clips. :) :)
