My wife drives past a small collapsed barn twice a day. On the first day it collapsed, she spied a classic pickup truck beneath the boards. It has been like that for about 2 months now. Just yesterday we typed up a nice letter to the property owner and dropped it in the mailbox, asking if he would be willing to part with it.

I have not shot any pics of it yet, but I do know that it has two rear windows, with straight glass edges in the middle but rounded on the outside edges, bubble fenders, with a pointed hood. The paint is shot, but what little sheet metal we can see is straight. It also has that 40's - 50's looking bed, squared off with the flared out rails. We went online, and I cannot find any pictures of Ford, Chevy or Dodge 40s or 50s trucks with split rear windows. Then I found a pic of an International Harvestor with two rear windows. Can anyone confirm that IH had the only split rear window pickup trucks? What else could it be? Thanks!

    Fargo?? it's like a DeSoto... :)
    I don't think it is, I looked.
I don't think I've ever seen a pickup with dual back windows like that, at least from the factory...

yeah, they all seem to have one piece rear windows. i told my wife she might have to take the camera next time and take a shot from the road.

Kind of, those windows are squared off. The windows we saw look like an oval cut in half. Is that picture of an International Harvestor?

I looked at a handful of years between 30 and 55 on google, nothing with two rear windows. :hmmm:

I looked at some Diamond T's and some Reo's before and after they merged and nothing. Then I looked at some of the Osh Kosh's and a few other unthought of brands like White and Mack as they did build some smaller stuff and still nothing. The Studdies that I looked at have an oval, (kinda) back window but it is a one piece. :hmmm: I can picture what you are talking about because I have seen it before. If I remember what it was or find it I will post it.

What does the winner get anyways?? :rofl2:
