It is a standard bore 302 with 5.4 rods like in the 347 kits. Pistons are forged kb747's with a stock crank. Engine builder said it was to help the crappy e7 heads. One day I will buy a stroker crank and pistons but I cant see doing that for a while since the engine has under 5000 miles.

just like putting any other engine together, no special machine work just have to have the correct pistons to use those rods. If I had to do it again I would just go with the 347. THe 347 pistons and the ones for the long rod are the same price the only extra cost is the crank but if you have to have yours turned its not much more.

I got her fired up today, this is the longest she has ran, ever. Now all I need are some radiator hoses, adjust the bands on the c4 and install the shifter. Then its off for a headers only test drive to the exhaust shop if I am to lazy to weld it on myself.

I finally go ththe 17x9 Bullitts mounted today,245/45r17 all around. 1" spacers in front, none in the rear. I have a few inches wider I can go in the rear. Might have these widened to fit a 335/35r17 in the rear. Now I need to get the drilled and slotted rotors for the rear.

    I made the shackles

It's been a while but today I got the rad installed along with the trans cooler and elec fan, now I just need to do some wiring. I also got the rear brake hose installed.
