I think I'm going to buy another project instead of going to the gathering... I just don't want to go without a mav or comet... I can save a really nice V8/auto 72 comet gt for less than I'll spend on the trip My Grabber is looking good but nowhere near finished,and I don't want to start cutting corners now... I'll keep the reservation open just in case....
Ken, cars come to the Gathering in lots of different stages. Believe me, you'll fit right in. The Gathering will also get you pumped up and give you lots of ideas.
Don I have one of those very rare and hard to find rear engine Mavericks, the 302 is sitting on the floor behind it...lol...
The second year for the Gathering here in Joplin I broke the trans in our Maverick on Thursday afternoon, my daughter and I still had a great time and we were in the parking lot till 2am every morning and early the next day, it really is a reunion with a car habit, so bring a few pictures and your lawn chairs for sure.
