I've owned my '71 since 2005. In that time I've made the v8 swap, disc brake swap, and a number of upgrades. Now it's time to get serious.
We were standing around one day, working on one of the race cars in the shop, when I was having a diatribe about cutting the towers. The next thing I knew, they were cut. I've got good friends!
More progress: Mallory electric fuel pump mounted with race plumbing and Taylor nylon braided, steel-core lines. Aluminum fuel filter mounted, regulator mounted, ignition and electrical system components coming together.
And one more pictures. Don't judge me for those underbody shots, I just don't have time to detail at the moment.
Nice wiring job. Is the fuse panel an aux to the orig panel? Don't fret the underbody - Nobody see's it unless they're willing to get on the grnd or the car is on a lift.
Thanks! The fuse panel is an aux for all of my engine bay needs, electric fan and ignition for now, headlight relays, fog light relay and maybe an electric water pump later.
Started her up today. Still not sure if the balance is perfect, we'll find out once there's an exhaust on it. Turns out my 650 Holley was really a 600....so I upgraded to a 750 Q-series quickfuel, what a difference!
