    Loads!

In the past couple days I've patched up my floors, removed the front driver side fender, and removed the shock absorber, coil spring and started rust removal/ prevention!

Replaced the window weather stripping. Boy what a pain in the @$$!!!
Just took my time and now it is done. Next step repainting the doors on the inside and the door jams. And while the doors are off replace the pins and weather stripping around the door area. Maybe in two weeks.

Chased down ignition system gremlins, eventually found out my brand-new Accel 8140 was a dud.

took it for a drive to a junker, to pick up a steering box. i was offered an intake manifold and a 4 barrel carb, but measured the carb and i think the hood wouldn't clear it. can anyone tell me which 4 barrel fit with the standard hood? here's a photo of the one that, according to a fast measurement, didn't fit.

I would think most carbs would. I've had an Edelbrock 1406, Holley 1850 and Holley double pumper on mine, no problems. I have the Holley DP on my 351w right now with a factory air cleaner even. Granted I do have a hole cut in my hood, but not for clearance...

hood clearance mostly depends on how much rise to the intake...:yup:

Definitely. Forgot to mention, both of my engines have had dual-plane Performer RPM style intakes.
