Hi guys, just wanted to share my experiance with peel n seal type of insulation, ever since I installed a race pipe on my mazda it had a horable droan and was just very annoying type of loud during the high way speeds, so I read here somewhere about the product called Peel N Seal, unfortunatelly none of my local lowes carried that, so I purchased two rolls of the home depot version of it for about 18 bucks a roll of 6"x25', so today at lunch I lined the trunk floor with it, two rolls covered all of the trunk floor and some of the side walls, I only put one layer down right now.
With just the trunk floor lined there was a very very noticible difference in noise levels in the passenger cabin, the droan became tolarable and i could actually hear my radio. I will definatelly be buying more of that stuff and lining remainder of the mazda with it, and when i purchase new carpets this summer for the maverick i will definatelly double layer the floor on that car.
If you guys want I can snap some picks of the trunk tomorow.
    :thumbs2:

Is that the stuff that looks like bubble-wrap with aluminum foil on each side?

I used that, but I don't recall that it had adhesive built in. I think I recall using 3M spray adhesive...:hmmm:
