Well today i experience my first car accident. Some lady turn left when i had a green light and i hit her on the front side at about 40 mph.. Fortunately we weren't seriously injured i hit my head on something because the seat belt buckle broke but other then that im fine.. My maverick on the other hand.. im almost sure is totaled. Thanks for everyone who helped me get it to this point hopefully ill be back with a maverick again.

    Good thing your ok!
The seat belt broke? This is one of the things that's a concern, when people buy Mavericks/Comets for their kids as daily drivers. Just something to consider.

Good to hear you're ok. I've wrecked a Comet myself. Took the Comet running gear and stuck it in a Maverick body I that I got from a Junkyard. Drove that one for over 200k miles. If you want to rebuild, you 'll find a way. Good luck to you!

ps: I highly recommend upgrading to new seatbelts, for everyone. I did this when I thought of my daughter having to go through life without me. It can only help.

    Sorry about the comet...
    Glad you are fine...
Seatbelts...I swear by the cobra lap belts, easy to install, Looks race, about $60 apair. The wife loves them, says they feel like wearing a big belt buckle.
