I re-did mine a few years ago. Cleaned it up and painted it. The engine and A/C were not removed.

whoever had my maverick before i acquired it decided to use a torch to blow out a hole then use what appears to have been vice grips to pull back the molten metal, just to lube the **** fittings.

This weekend my engine bay is getting completely overhauled. I've had my brand new shiny cherry picker just staring at me for a month. Time to fire up the power tools and get rid of everything thats not an engine! Battery to the trunk, solenoid to the trunk and 100 old mounting holes gone.

Is there a good kit out there for relocating the battery? I know your just moving it and using new cables and some sort of tie down for the battery but I figured there might be a nice shiny kit out there :D

Okay, I'll bite. How does one clean and paint an engine bay without removing the guts? Especially to make it look that good.
