Went to bleed the rear drivers side and was able to remove the bleeder screw with no fluid coming out and the pedal still hard when pushed. Would that be the signs of a bad wheel cylinder?

you need to loosen the brake line that goes into the wheel cylinder and see if it leaks when you apply pressure. if it does the wheel cylinder needs replacement. if not then you need to move back through the system loosening the fittings till you get the pressured release. the component in front of where it releases is bad part that needs replacement.
