Side Marker thread protectors in trunk

    You know those little rubber thread protectors that Ford put on the side marker light screws that stick out inside the trunk? Should they be on both sides of the car or just the drivers side? My car had them only on the drivers side and I'm wondering if I'm missing a couple of them?

    Eric, I have only seen them on the drivers side, I guess they figure the spare tire protects the passenger side. It cant hurt to put them everywhere in the trunk even on tail light bolts

    The tailight bolts just arn't as pointy (they might rip your "delicates"). I could just imagine, loading the luggage in the trunk, for a trip to Florida...back in those days it, took us almost 3 full days...:)
