    got out early this morning...:bouncy:

    cleaned the drivers floorpan. i remembered i had a little... Rustbullit ...left in a...sixshooter can, so i put it on the floor pan, no reason except i had it...:yup:

    now to watch the paint dry...:outtahere::party3:

    Drove her this morning with the suspension upgrades done and alignment completed!

    All I can say is "WOW" what a difference!

    Those are the nicest floor pans ive ever seen on a Junkyard car. You may have more fun working on the 72 than you do on patches. Sometimes its more fun to start over on a new project and do the simple things again.

    Yard'd the motor and trans out of the Maverick, now need to tear the motor down to see what I've got and take the tranmission to Mike's transmission for a refresh...........road trip will be in order down to Lancaster.

    Made an aluminum filler panel between the grille and radiator support....I has quick release fasteners to remove

    looks sweet. i dont see any hood pins, i think i see dzus fasteners for hood. is that right?

    Hood pins are going on....

    I also moved the top of the grille forward about an inch....Just gives it a subtle little look

    got the rest of the...peel n seal... on and rolled out.
    threw the carpet in so it can relax...:thumbs2:
    it got hot quick this morning...:whew:

    Well today I ordered the Pertronix Flame Thrower dissy and coil, not today but the other day I bought these seats from Daniel (danchmp) and I am as happy as crawdads in creek water!
    Also got the Yellow carpet you can see behind the bucket seats!!

    Started it up and drove to the of the street and came back. It's all good.

    Re-installed frt valance after detailing some frt end parts. And most important -- went to "KRUZE NIGHT" Thursday and Friday. Had to get it out while we get a break in the rain. We been gettin 4 or 5 rainy days and maybe one day of decent wx. We got do beautiful days in a row - had to take advantage of them.
    Wish we cud send some of the rain to some of the places where drought a big factor.

    That shroud extends way bk in the engine compartment; It looks like it's a foot or so deep. What kind of engine is in that car?
    BTW: I like the alum grille pan.

    It is deep, it came off a Nationwide Cup car...For now it's just a little 289 with a cam and some compression....If i really like the car when it's finished i'll probably look into a 347
