Stumbled on these....good sport mirror alternative? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0570246839&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT
They look like the generic plastic kind, they don't get the correct angle on mavericks. But on other cars they look fine.
Looks to me like you would be able to get the angle right ... pretty big range of adjustment there. If anything is wrong with them, the arms look a bit long to me. They could probably be made to work with a fair amount of mocking them up in alternate positions on the door, something that a few guys have done with the stock mirrors, too. I will probably move my stock mirrors forward, tucking them in closer to the pillars. It will make them flow with the lines of the car a bit better and make them a bit more useful as actual mirrors, too. The visibility in my mirrors isn't very good where they are now. Getting them postioned could be a challenge with these aftermarket ones. With the longer arms, they may be hanging way out there in the wind. Guess we won't know until someone takes the plunge....
hey Craig.. they do look adjustable, but are you happy with the "looks" of them? In your pic they do kinda stick up and out a bit....
Mine are from a Mustang II, they arent perfect, but they work and look good. Of course, the maverick efficcianados will spot them a mile away, LOL
No offence taken what-so-ever. They were on the car when I got it. They do look O.K.....but I would prefer factory mirrors. The entire "bullet" part of the mirror moves.
