    Who makes the best aftermarket dash cap for a 1970 Mav? What is the best way to remove the dash pad to install dash cap?

    The Cap goes OVER your factory dash pad .. you don't remove anything.

    I bought the one on eBay for $80 with free shipping. Looks fine installed ...

    I believe they are all made by Accuform, no matter where you get them. :)

    Correct...the only company making them. Several places that sell them though.

    I got mine from JC Whitney. About $85 inc shipping. Takes as long to open the packaging as it does to install it (if you don't glue it on) Very easy install. Just snap it in place

    i just used google shopping and typed in "dash cap for a Frod Maverick". it worked great for me when i bought a dash cap and it fits awesome as well.
