    What car did they get the hood scoop from for the comet gts? Also as well as the wing. One more question what do the comet gts consist other then exterior cosmos. Thankd

    I am sure someone here knows if it was used on another car, my bet is it is unique to the comet ;)

    the scoop came from the cougar eliminator
    no rear wing on the original comet gt
    it was just an appearance group with scoop, sport mirrors and bucket seats - no performance package

    It was also used on the '69 Mercury Cyclone. Non-Eliminator 428 and 429 Cougars ('69-'71) with Ram Air got the same scoop.

    The vast majority of scoops that you find are from Comet GT's. They are not that hard to find, but are a little pricey. There are reproductions available, but they are of lesser quality than the originals.
