Ok then...unless Matt Bong shows up Don will probably have the fastest Maverick there!! UPDATE: Just saw Don's post on the other thread where he states: We plan on being there. We took the 70 back to the Gathering in Ky. but since it is going to be at a track here, I'll bring the 71 Grabber.
So what are you bringing Don? I saw the orange car you took to the gathering, is that a 70 also? and which is the 71 Grabber? another drag car? Im confused. Don needs to show pics of all his cars so I can get this straight. and details on each one too.
Thats only 1 out of 5 Don. Ive see pictures of the orange car in the gathering pics. So thats 2 of 5. Still holding out on us.
Thats better. So the only thing you are hiding is the Comet. That's fine. we dont need to see that thing anyways. now I know what you are talking about when you say you are bringing what car or doing something to some car. Nice fleet.
So are any of you guys racing in the valley between now and SpeedWorld/Oct 2 ??? I can't decipher it from the earlier posts.
Well I could find some cool pics on the web and claim I have a cool car too. Unless I can see it touch it or taste it I dont believe anything is real. And who let Gene in here? Somebody forgot to close the door behind them and let in a stray cat. Roger, I doubt I will even drive my car before the Oct. 2nd race. Im either too busy, too lazy, or its too hot. Plus I'm waiting for Gene to come over and put in my new fuel filter. Now the problem with that is...... I dont remember where I put it.
Ryan...there must be a huge oil slick under your Maverick from all the seals drying up from lack of use...
I'll be racing in Tucson next week. Next race in the Valley for me is Oct 2. Ryan. When we get there I'll let you touch the headers to see if it is running.
Gene, How did you kow? I fyou were in my garage inspecting my leaks then why didnt you put in my filter? Are you the one that moved it? I already blamed the wife as usual anyways. Don, that would be great. but touching the header may not be enough. I will have to smell the exhaust and lick a spark plug to make sure it is not only real but also running in top shape.
