The Maverick I feel would be doing much better had he done a tune-up on it, haha

I calln BS on this show!:bs: I watched it tonight and it started out OK, but they tried to pull a fast one on the viewers. The Maverick in the begining of the show WAS NOT the same Maverick they used in the monster truck race. The original crap hauling Maverick was a 1975 with a black interior. The one in the monster truck race was a 1970 with a tan interior. I'd like to hear how the producers of this show would like to explain that little switch- a- roo.:hmmm:

I knew it!! The maverick at the end was a different color and did not have bucket seats.

I'm pretty sure all the cars converted to 4x4 were not actually the same car. The story was they converted them all in 12 hours. And they were all dented up from running into each other. The truck versions all had perfect bodies. I think they had the 4x4's first and then bought the closest matching Junkers they could find.

I was bummed when the Maverick caught on fire.

I'm in complete agreement with this idea, except I think they were supposed to have 24 hours, which still wouldn't be near enough time to convert them. I enjoyed the show anyway, especially when Rutledge made the comments about comparing the cars with the drivers...LOL!!

I saw the show last nite. I was surfing channels and saw the yellow Maverick. The show was near the beginning so I watched the rest.
