Well the old Maverick is no longer a project and is finally rollin down the road again!

Just breaking things in easy any making some final adjustments. Transmission seems to be working well and the new radiator is unbelievable. Drove the car for 30 minutes then let it sit and run for another 10 yesterday in 90 degree weather and the temp never got over 180. What a difference! Mufflers sound real agressive and the car just gets so much attention everywhere it goes. Even got the Comet scoop on that I purchased from Geenwa1 here on this site.

Really glad to have it back on the road!! (Just in time for the local all Ford show in Lansing, MI)

    Mike

Love your car! A friend of mine had one the same color in high school. (minus the hood scoop) with chrome reverse wheels and baby moons.

Pic of the interior is on this thread.

New ACC carpet, the seats are actually a Mustang pattern but nobody seems to notice much. Other then that, not much going on other then some Autometer gauges and a B&M Prostick.

Thanks for all of the kind comments everyone :)

I seen your car on 8-11 around 9:00 pm heading up barnes toward high school. What a good looking mav i must say. It sounded really good from back. cant wait to get a closer look. I have started back on mine again in between projects. We were one of the homes that got hit by the strong winds in may so repairs on the home and sneak a couple mins here and there on the car when no one is looking.

Thanks for the nice comments. Sure has been good to have the car back on the road. I am moving my daughter into her college dorm this weekend but when things settle down a bit, I will hit you up so we can meet. The other Maverick you have seen around town is my neigbor so I am sure he would like to meet you too. :Handshake:thumbsup:
