Advice on rusted roof

    The roof was sanded to bare metal and covered and stretched tight with the mat. That filled the holes. Then smooth the fiberglass before spraying.
    I did not watch the process; but I am pleased with the results.

    I do not know the brand of bedliner.

    Sorry but I'm new at this, you said "stretched tight with the mat" what mat? Is there a mat you have to install before spraying. I thought you would just patch hole and spray bedliner.

    I came across a really clean 73 Mav with a swiss cheesed roof about three years ago, and thought "Wow, nice car, yet hopeless". Then I saw this post ...

    The fiberglass mat will patch the holes. It is layer over the entire roof.

    To bad your not a little closer to Florida. I'm getting ready to scrap my old 71 2dr Maverick parts car. It's been robbed of everything that is worth saving except the roof, which is in excellent shape. If anyone in the north Fl area needs a roof, it's all yours.:tiphat:
