    Hey Gene if I realy wanted to race you and win I would bring my Focus, :smash: :1st:

    Now my truck you can beat me in that for sure, it only runs 16.2 So maybe ill bring that. I'd bring my Mustang if its driving by then. I'm pulling the trans out for Resto to pick up while he is in town and then I can start work on my 5 speed swap.

    Dont make me do it Gene......... Sorry Resto, gotta keep the trans in the car to go whoop up on this little red 6 cyl. grabber. Will be amazing how much difference it will make when i actually have a fuel system that isnt jacked up. no more 16 sec. runs shutting down at the 600 ft mark.

    Of course im joking. gotta sell the trans while i have a buyer that wants it and will be in town. I'll just have to teach Gene a lesson next time when i have a 5 speed. Or meet him out there before the meet in Sept. somtime. Let me know if you go out Gene. I'l have my car ready.

    On a side note I think this argument should be settled at the track BEFORE the meet ;) Just saying there is PLENTY of time before that 5 speed swap.

    Oh the 5 speed isnt what i need to beat you. Just by the time I have it back togethor and have my fuel fixed, it will ba a 5 speed.

    I think Gene is calling out a grudge match race before oct. 2nd. Im game. Because I know I will never here the end of it from Gene until i can finally beat his 6 cyl car with my roller cam, .512 lift, trickflow headed, 3.89 geared car.

    There is no Sunday racing until Oct 2nd if I'm reading the SpeedWorld calendar correctly. Sept 16th there is the Friday nite challenge. Much earlier than that it will still be too dang hot out.

    Its ok Resto. The trans was built to take way more than i'm putting out now with my stock short block. It was originaly built for a 10 sec. Mustang. I got it when the car was parted out and had it rebuilt and its been quite happy in my much slower car.
