Those are nice looking. and Price is good. Anyone seen them in person to see if the quality is decent?

Of course, compared to my seats, the quality it GREAT!!!

Mine are original from a 70 or 71, very little foam left, red vinyl hanging everywhere...I have them covered with fuzzy seat covers to hide the ugly.

Those are nicer than mine too. I have seats out of an older Pontiac. They don't lock back and are uncomfortable. Seats are on my list of things to replace. I'll have to put these on my list.

I've got them in my car. Comfy, hold you in place, and fully adjustable. As for quality they are alot nicer than you'd expect for $150. Good thick cushioning, thick durable material. The plastic components like the hinge covers are kind of cheesy but overall they are nice seats, especially at the price. I've got no real gripes. I installed mine by building custom 2" square tubular risers and welding the risers to the floor. That way I can remove and reinstall the seats quickly without needing an extra person. Some O'reillys keep them on hand so if I were you I'd try and check them out first.

I'm interested in these seats. Do you have any pics of your risers or specifics on how you made them?

Unfortunately I'm terrible about taking pics during projects but I'll describe the process the best I can.
-Welded up all the old seat holes to start with a clean slate
-Welded 16ga reinforcement plates to the areas where the seats would mount
-At the front outside corners (the highest point) welded a piece of 1/8" plate, level relative to the ground as my starting point
-Cut sections of 2" square tubular steel risers to the appropriate height to put all 4 corners at the same height
-Shaped the bottoms of the risers to follow the angles of the floor, and welded them to the reinforcement plates
-Cut a notch across the tops risers for the seat tracks to sit into and lock into.
-Drill holes in the floor inside the footprint of the risers, and bolt in the seats.

How difficult would it be to attach them to stock bucket tracks?

With any seats with a lot of bolstering like these, I would see them in person and try them out.

    At 6'1", 200 lbs, I found several that I don't really fit it ... ;) ... needed to move up a size.

I've never had a pair of stock bucket tracks so I don't have much to go off. The bolt pattern if I remember correctly was 19" across and 21" front to back, or vice versa. At any rate its about a 20" square. If the factory tracks weren't way off all it would really take is building some tabs that bolt into the seats and provide a mounting point for the factory tracks. Pretty straight forward. I had to start from scratch though, so thats why I made my own mounts.

Don't know about these seats but some of the cheap china made seats have plastic frames (ok for small light person) so you have to choose wisely

I used to sell racing seats everyday to the Import guys when I was running Sportcompactonly.com and Motorweb.com. I just found these SpecD racing seats I used to sell for a good price here, <Link removed due to malware>

Some cheap brands to seach for for these would be 3a racing, Spec D, and NRG. Should be able to find many places selling them in pairs and shipped for $300 or less. Just gotta find the import sites that are whoring them out.

I got the exact same ones in my car, my bench seat was trashed so I got a set of these used on craigslist for 50.00.

Like mentioned above you need a about a 2 inch riser in the rear, mine have a metal frame so just about anything is possible as far as mounting.

HEAVY seats though, just a racing look not a racing product. Will work for what they are for a while until I can get better.

Comfort is decent, I would not want to go on a long road trip with them though.

Not very good material, they will wear on high traffic areas fast from what I have seen on my seats and other seats around.

Only other thing I would mention is if you plan on running a long center console with them watch fitment. Very tight on mine between door to door with center console, almost everything is touching.

Should be doable as mentioned above, I would measure overall heigth if possible first. Mine seem very tall.

Honestly I would just start from scratch, and sell the stock rails to a good home. Help cover the costs of the new seats;)

theres a 73 maverick that i keep in touch with that has those in his car and they look pretty sharp i will say. i took some black leather bucket seats out of a 04 ford fusion which are just like the mustang seats in our 07 and modified them to fit and they work great too. i got my pair from a junk yard for a 140$s
