.....OK...Im willing to wait an extra week for Ryans AOD trans. How about Ryan and Gene do this at the Meet Sunday Oct 2nd. Dool In The Desert 2011. Whos In. 20.00 for whoever wants to contribute to the pot. The money goes to the winners favorite charity. We put it in the paper for advertising to build next years meet. In 2012 everybody races for the right to donate that years pot. I can have a trophy made up. Like the Stanly Cup. thats gets added to every year. This meet can take on a life of its own and yall wont need to send out so many Pms trying to get it going every year. How does that sound?

 

Thats an Idea Resto, but you might as well just had me the money cause Gene is going down. Now if we did it braket racing style then I bet Gene will take me out. If we have enough Mavericks out there running We can do a bracket dial in mini tournament. Speedworld did that for the Mustang guys when they had the club day there when me and Gene were running last time. the Mustang guys put their money in a pot for one of the guys kidney transplant fund. But I dont think the news will care about a v8 maverick racing a 6 cyl. and our small pot going to a charity. I know Id be spending all my fun money just on gas and supplies to get there.


On a side note Resto, this is all fun an talk but You dont need to make a second drive up here to get the AOD. Im sure we can all get togethor again in not too long and see the Ryan and Gene race, and maybe Tony will be there too next time. We just had to wait so long for this meet because of summer. After October we can do it again in November or December.

Yeah, I think I like my odds alot better once Ryan gets the T-5 in there....then I might have a chance to beat him...

 

For the record: Tony is no longer my friend and is off of my christmas card list. The rest of you still wont get a christmas card either but thats not because you arent on the list, i'm just not sending any.

Gene will get his christmas card from me at the end of the track where I will be parked and waiting for him to arrive approx. 1.75 seconds after i do.

 

Note to self, although Gene offers to help with the tranny install I am to keep a very close eye on him for any sabotage attempts.
