no Gene, thats the xmas list. you are off of my contacts list which means you will no longer be notified of my updates, special deals, and promotions. Luck y for you that list will only cost you one green light to get back on instead of the 20 dollars it is costing Tony to get back on my friends list.

Hey guys, I am looking at the edelbrock power package top end kit for 1900.00 I know it wont produce the HP some of your Mods do. Probably only around 375 hp which is ok by me. Anybody think its worth the money?:)

well that would make for one stop shopping and take the guess work out of which cam, intake and heads combo to put togethor. and 375 is more than enough power. I'm pretty sure I got some mismatch stuff going on cause i never have made the power i think i should be.

375 is a good number. I know that everyone hears these huge numbers thrown around (and most of it quite frankly is bunk) but if it gives you an honest 375 hp and we assume that the car weighs 3100lbs, it would be good for a 12.676 et at 113.75 mph in the standing quarter mile. (assuming traction is optimized of course) I used LRT's formula to come up with these numbers and other calculators rate it slightly faster. I think that you'd be hard pressed to beat that from any normal street car for the price. And incidently the stopping power of a Maverick would be far outweighed by the horsepower at that point.

See Tony, THis is how you get on my xmas card list.

Resto we need to discuss the extra potential costs involved when pulling the AOD. How much would i get for each busted knuckle, cut, or hand smashed under the trans as slips off the jack? Gotta be some hazard pay somewhere.

I hate wearing gloves while working on cars. I like to feel the wrench or screw that im working with. And air tools air nice but I think they just get in the way unless something is stuck. Just wait, you will how much fun these bell housing bolts are.

Oh yes..I removed two C4s in as many weeks, Im very familiar with Bellhousing Bolts. I think I used an airrachet on all the bolts accept the one on the passenger side by the dipstick.
I know the feeling the wrench and bolt is a must, cause most of the time I cant see the bolts and my arm is threaded around something in the way.

Huh, mine is never together long enough for any of the bolts to be stuck.
