I did a bunch of stuff to my car today, i will post pics later:tiphat: but I had to run over to autozone to grab some electrical connectors and I ran into this couple up from Pheonix doing a summer roadtrip, they spent a week camping in yellowstone, and they were heading down to Vegas for the week in their old econoline van. I offered to give them a hand but it was just the altitude had caused the 302 to foul out so they were replacing all their plugs and decided to buy some wires while they were at it. They thought it was awesome and laughed when I asked to take some pics of their van, I really had to chuckle at the liscence plate:biglaugh:

That's funny! On a molester van no less! :rofl2:

Oh and in my experience 408w, next will be the rear end...then the driveshaft...etc...etc...etc...
It's the law of the weakest link.

Awesome van!! When I was 16 my buddy had a beige one (he traded a pinball machine for it), with all the windows, sink, fridge and all, we had planned on going out west in it...but it got towed away...never to be seen again, then again, we were only 16 :)

My cousin and I had the same aspirations in the 70's with a 62 VW window van - just like Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper did in Easy Rider - See America

Problem was the engine didn't have enough left in it to get out of his driveway let alone go across the country :biglaugh:

I think we smoked a bit of the same stuff, as they did in the movie...that's all we really used that van for...now that I think about it..:(

today I fabricated my efi fuel pump brackets, took my driveshaft down and had it shortened to fit the 4r70w with new spicer u-joints ( took an hour ). made more room for my accessory drive, ordered more parts, and waved hi to somebody driving a blue maverick on 290w in memphis...
