    installed rear shocks, tore down the differential to install a set of powertrax locker, ordered worn out parts for differential, took disc brake brackets to machinist, cleaned up calipers and painted them.

    Granada spindles, disc brakes, new master cyl. adjustable per-portioning valve, cut coils, alignment...oh, and put it up for sale....what was I thinking????

    Drove mine to the calling hours of my Mavericks original owner who was 87, his sons were very happy to see the car still in its original condition and told how their dad loved that car. About 2 months ago the son called and and said he found the original window sticker and brochure so he gave me that also. More and more I think about just leaving it all original and find another one to build.

    Cleaned out the engine bay.. Sprayed it with degreaser, scraped it and pressure washed and now debating if I should be painting my engine bay black or body color to brighten things up and make it easier to clean, orange would look super clean I tink?

    installed the lokar shift shaft into my 4r70w, bent, cut and installed the column shifter shaft, welded in a drain plug into my trans pan. now going to get more parts. :)

    Drove to Indiana this morning to pick up my new fuel tank. Drove back home and installed it. Perfect, even the sending unit worked!!!!! Now i don't have to stop all the time and put gas in it when it doesn't neeed it! Thanks Craig!!!!!!!:thumbs2:

    See you're from Xenia....Kilkare is there right? We used to go to the PFCA meets from the 80s till they died out. Good times in Xenia, Columbus and Reynoldsburg back then!

    I needed that tank more then you!!!! I live about a mile up the road from the track. I get down there every now and then. What is the PFCA meet?

    Yep....I remember attending many a MCCI Roundup Nationals when they used to be held in conjunction with the PFCA show on Labor Day weekend. Good times.
