its a 7/8" bar. I need larger but have no room. I tried to move the bar back but then it interferes with the oil pan and drain plug which is on the front of my oil pan. I'm talking with ADDCO about getting one custom bent which will push the mounting points back to avoid the strut rods and stretch the "dip" forward to avoid the oil pan. I just need to find a material to model it out of then have them build it.

Oh and thanks for the compliment. Hopefully I'll have it out at the Goodguys autocross at the end of the month and we'll see how it does.

That is another option I am considering but the bar would have to be mounted thru the frame rail to get it out of the way of the strut rod. I think at that point though, the bar conflicts with the lower engine pulleys. I'll have to take another look at it. The other option is far forward and under the strut rod but then I'd need a long wild looking arm designed and a 2" bar to give the roll rate Im looking for.

I would think your car is sitting pretty low. Is it a daily driver or more a weekend car? I haven't lowered the rear and I'm snagging all sorts of little critters driving low. Mostly scraping over speed bumps and some humps in the road

Its a fair weather driver. I have very few ground clearance problems since going to shorty headers.

I spent the weekend driving the car as much as I could and run into trouble. I tried adjusting my clutch to get more throw out of it and ended up with too more throw. Now my hydraulic throwout bearing is fully extended thus leaving the clutch in a contant state of slip. Im afraid I may have to pull the trans out to fix it. If I do, Im going to be doing away with this throwout bearing and going with a standard fork and bearing combo and an external slave cylinder.

Bummer, dude. Do you think it won't retract due to hydraulic pressure or a mechanical failure?

I think mechanical failure. I opened the bleeder on the t/o bearing to see if there was built up pressure and nothing came out. Ill call mcleod today to see what they say and place an order with Rosehill after that. I really need to limit my downtime to a week if possible.:burnout:

Gotcha. I'm sure your thread states this somewhere, but what bell and transmission are you using?

Just spoke with McLeod... I have to bleed the system which should allow the bearing to release. Otherwise call them back.

I went with the external slave from rosehill for that reason....
Well that and they are a heck of alot cheaper to replace then one of the Mcleod internal bearing setups. You can get a complete setup with fork, throwout bearing, mounting bracket and slave for less then one of the bearings.

The fork and slave cylinder aren't too bad to get in there. Me and Bryant have had good success with the CNC one. Bryant made his own bracket that came out really nice.

Just ordered the kit from Rosehill. It should be here tomorrow. The bracket wouldnt have been to bad to make but need it ASAP and am running out of time.
