need advice , roof top painted or bedliner

    Well I decided to remove the rusted roof and install one from a donor. The donor roof was from a Cadillac. So I cut the rusted roof only, I didn't cut the brackets from the middle of the old roof . You can see how it looks from under the roof inside the car in photo #2. The roof fit perfect. I will post more pictures as the project is complete.

    Just posted some pics. Decided to remove whole roof, I will later post more pics as the project is completed.

    Sorry dude but that was a waste.....a bad waste. The roof is warped beyond recognition due to excessive heat and there's no way to get the back glass in right. If you want to save that car you HAVE to stop now. Find a complete donor roof, cut it at the windshield posts and quarters and have it PROPERLY welded in. There are techniques for welding sheetmetal...usually little tacks or stitch welds with a mig or careful work with a tig.
