Do we know if Comets or Comet gts had a paint job similer to this?

If not did the comet GTs have their own kind of "special" paint job?

Its proving to be a little difficult to come across any info on these cars except for what I 'try' to find on here. Thanks in advance!

(Yes im considering a Halo style top as well)

No Comet GT's had a two tone paint job from the factory. As Dave (DDB) stated, just the side and hood stripes.

    Mostly true

There were some built with painted tops. I know of an original paint '71 GT with Competition Blue body, white painted top, black stripes and interior. Other than that Dave and Craig are correct.

Thanks for the clarification, Seth. I forgot that Ford did some painted tops instead of vinyl tops on some cars.
