Speedworld mistakenly took off the Sunday races from the schedule. Everything is still on as it was planned. I wa sthinknig over the weekend if this was really cancelled due to Speedworld changing things then I was just going to give up this idea of ever getting a big meet togethor. As it looks righ tnow this isnt going to be a very big meet either. We have got very few responses from the mass messages sent out and very few confirmations on the Evite.

So It may just be 5 or 6 of us racing and some others coming to watch but nothing big as it looks right now. Im going to invite my Mustang friends too since we wont be a large group. Maybe as it gets closer I'll put a note up on craiglsit in the parts and cars for sale section to grab the local guys looking for maverick parts who might not know about us.

Sorry Gene but its gotta come apart. If you are free during the evening sometome the week before the meet I could use some help pulling out the trans though.

This is why we arent letting Tony help on the trans. Hes better at the technical stuff, so he can rebuild my fuel pump while the real men, gene and I, do the heavy work. :dancing:

Of course then my fuel pump would leak or break at any sign of a show and be stuck in the garage like his car.

I got an idea Resto. You bring your trailer up here. Pick up my car and take it back to Yuma with you. then you can take out the trans and all the stuff you need for it. then find me a t5 and all the associated parts for the hydraulic setup and put them in for me and then tow it back here when its done. I'll even let you fix my fuel pump or filter problem I have so you can test drive it. You may get off cheaper this way depending on what you find the t5 stuff for. the extra gas may be the deal breaker though. But it sounds good to me, no work on my end. :thumbs2:

I'll second that idea...no sense in both of us having to get all greasy and stuff under your car...:dancing:

:rofl2: Yeah Right....like I got that kind of room. And that much time. The AOD will probably sit for a couple of months, till the engine, Paint and front Suspension is done.
