The cross member is a Quick homebuilt thing, but it does the job. You could probably make something nicer without much effort but we were in a hurry. I'll try and take a pic of how it mounts so you can use it easily.

The headers I did not cut anything. But I did have to heat them up quite a bit and put a 4ft bar in the end of them and bend them outwards away fromthe trans pan. You will need to do the same unless you run shorties or figure out somethign else. Some people just leave them alone and run with it but they are way to close to the pan, especially for Az. heat.

So how about Wed. if Gene and Tony want to come over? That way I can do some clean up on Tues. and then pull the trans on Wed.

How about 6pm? Give us time to eat and wait for traffic to calm down.

I have a motorcylcye jack I use, should be fine. well, I usually have to use blocks on top of it to get it high enough so ya if its not too much trouble it may make it easier to do.

I'll try to remember to throw it in the truck.

Sorry forgot the period...Should I bring my transmission, Jack? Oh wait, his name is Ryan.

Anyhow you must not be paying attention when you are at Harbor Freight! Are you coming down to help us Adam? We could always use someone with experience. God knows that the three of us can screw it up!

Would love to Tony, but I am currently working in St Johns Arizona. So I am gone every Monday through Late Friday night. If it spills over into the weekend let me know and I will swing by and lend a hand for sure:yup:.

Side note, need to get a transmission jack... I am realizing lately I am not 20 anymore and bench pressing transmissions in is probably not a smart idea to do anymore. LOL

Anyone going to make it to the grudge race at speedworld? 9k in payouts, should be some good racing!

The trans will definitely be out in one night, no need to drag it out into a 3 day project. SO unless we screw up real bad we shouldnt need Adams help.

Oh am I the only one that noticed we are doing all this nonsense talking in the Planning a Meet thread? thats what the sand box was for. Oh well. the meets in a week and will probably just be 5 there watching Gene run 15s against other non mavericks. Maybe a few others will show up that ive talked to from off the board. Ill make one more push this week to get people to come out.
