Found a 71 comet and a 66 Falcon. Both perfect to get parts for both of my projects!

Except they had already been stripped apart :(

The comet had maybe 3 worthwhile parts, the tower braces.
But they had dents all over the place. The 6cyl had a set of adjustable rockers, but the had sludge all over them and that's usually the sign of a neglected engine so I passed on them. Then the last thing was the cluster, but with no way to test it I passed on it as well, it was sun faded so not really worth anything anyways.

It had a cool headliner though :D

Then the falcon I saw the tailights hidden in the truck and I got so excited only to find that the lenses were cracked. Everything else on the car was basically gone. The window trim looked good so I'm going back to get that, I forgot my trim tools and didn't wanna ruin them by attempting to remove them with a screwdriver.

EDIT nevermind the trim pieces will not fit. Saved me a trip to the junkyard though.

Oh I almost forgot they also had a 75 for sale, A while back a member on here was trying to buy it. It was tore up from the floor up though.

Do a little research & make sure that mustang II doesn`t have a traction lock rear end.

I would grab the bumper filler panel off the 71. I'm sure you could sell it for more than the yard wants.

I always check MIIs for the steering wheel and track loc. Unfortunately this car had none. It didn't even have a 8".

I don't think you know our prices down here in California, I had to pay $40+fees/taxes for a just a headlight without the bulb lol

The filler panel would cost me $30 + all the stupid fees/taxes they add on.

The only time it's worthwhile to get parts like that is when the whole front assembly is there. I can leave the bumper hooked up to the valance w/light and filer panel and get them all for the price of just the bumper. Instead of paying 4-5 times more piecing them out.

It was for 4runner, it's cheaper than the dealer/auto store prices.

A headlight for a comet would be cheaper at the parts store than the junkyard.

Wow Alex....that Headliner sure if unique looking! It's good that you took so many pictures...you might see something in them later, upon further inspection, that you might want to go back to get.
