Absolutely Rick - I'm in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of PA and they are forcasting 3 to 5 inches of rain by tomorrow- - -we can only hope that's all :)

Ok! Sounds gud. Actually, I don't suppose a lot of folks use the back seat for much anyway. I use mine to store my folding chair, used t cruize nites and shows. I cud'nt see anybody larger than a 10 yr old riding back there anyway :biglaugh:
I,ve had my car a little over 2 yrs and have'nt had a soul on the back seat yet. I just have the seat for appearance.

    Same here :yup:

I bought a primo black 70 back seat from a California member Okibono a few years back and it's way too nice to keep in the garage attic. I also built my rear cage kickers to follow the roof line so no one in the back seat hits their head on them. :)

Well I guess it could have been one step forward and two steps back:biglaugh:

That's why it takes us so long to make progress

Fabricating metal skills but not much in the welding skills department yet. I'm just getting decent at filling in spot welds through 1/4 inch holes. The rest of my welds are still ugly.

Original Dashboard Back In Car And Clears Roll Cage

I built my roll cage to go through the dash close to the A-Pillers and have had a dummy dashboard in the car for a long time. After getting my final cage crossbar between the A-Piller upright bars and, well hidden inside of the dummy dash, it was time to carve up the original 69.5 dash and get it back in the car. A day of tedious grinding and sanding got the dash back in place where it was born.

I want to thank MEAN_MAVERICK (David) for giving my the dummy dashboard so long ago for just the cost of shipping. :tiphat:The well carved up dummy dash has lived a very productive last couple years of it's life helping me out but it now goes to it's grave :(

Thanks Roger - that is the 1972 tunnel I stuffed into the 69.5 car

The dash pad and cap will have to be clearenced also but that should be gravy after what I had to put up with today.

Lets see pics of the rest of the cage. Looks good from what I see. Is it a drag car?
