    Starting to feel really good my have to list is finally smaller then my want to list for my car.:bananaman

    I walked by both of them on my way to the, 1st annual Ocala Pumpkin Run car show.. It was a huge 3 day car show with vender's,food and lots of cool cars,but no mavs or comets :( next show is called Horsepower in Horse Country (march 2012) I will try to make sure there is at least 1 mav there :)

    is it a must to re-clock them? i was thinking of one from a 97 mustang gt plus do i use my old wiring or do i have to get new stuff from the 3g?

    Super windy on Saturday, north west wind. While working on my Maverick I lost 5 bucks, it blew away and I couldn't get it....

    No its not a must to re-clock them but if you dont your alternator wiring is pointing directly at your valve covers, and this makes it a real pain in the behind to do anything with it at all. You re-clock the back housing to make it so that the wiring comes out of the alternator straight up like the older alternators do.
    And yes you need to adapt the 3G wiring to your wiring harness, also you will have to incorporate a fuseable link or breaker, its fairly easy to do just takes a little time.

    Priced out Dremel tools b/c I burned up my Black & Decker rotary while prepping the edge on some firewall penetrations for welding. :mad:

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    Silver Stallion

    Took the bumpers off the silver Stallion today. Started de-trimming the entire car and stripping the paint down to bare metal. Only 3 spots of rust on the entire car to repair. This car is super solid and is going to be a pleasure to restore. Pics coming soon on a thread near you!
