    Hello Maverick group,
I am now a proud owner of 2 1972 Pinto sprints.
    Here are some photos.
My first Sprint is a Canadian built Pinto and the second is a New Jersey sprint.

Those just scream for the 5.0 treatment. Or, is there something special planned? :drive::chirp::burnout:

My first sprint is at the body shop.
Here is Tony from Tony's Rod & Custom pulling a small dent on the drivers quarter pannel.

As RARE as the Pinto Sprint is it would be terrible to mess one up with a V8. This Sprint will be kept stock as long as I own it.

    Hello DDB,
All Pinto sprints are the hatchback "RUNABOUT". At one time I thought all Sprint Pintos were automatics. But I have one with 5 code for the trans. instead of the "W". There are some rumors about a 1972 Sprint wagon out there.

That is funny, Frank was over the other day and telling me about this sprint pinto that he sold to a guy in St.Louis, so I had to ask. Amazing how small it all seems sometimes. Do you have a sprint maverick also?

    Hello Wardf,
No I do not have a Maverick, but the first sprint I ever saw was a Maverick and I fell in love with the Red White & Blue at that time.
After talking with the owner, I was on a quest to find a Sprint Pinto.

Too bad I just got the 1st sprint to the body shop so there is no way to get a photo of the two Sprint Pintos together at this time.

I found the build sheet and the original sales reciept to go with my Canadian Sprint.
