First the bad news or the sad news anyway. About a month ago i sold my maverick to a lady in South Dakota. Her name is Indy, so i know its in good hands. She called me the day the maverick arrived she was very excited.

Now on to the good news.... My middle daughter Aubrey Asked what I was going to do without a car to play with? I joked and said maybe i will buy your from you.... A couple days after my birthday last month Aubrey handed me a birthday card. Inside was a note stating that she was giving me her car. She said its not right that I didnt have a car to play with. I have wonderful kids. ( wouldnt you agree ) I have some plans for this one. I want to do everything to this one that I wanted to do to the other one. one of the things is a shelby steel taillight panel. I already have that well under way. It is already spot welded in place. I also have a mustang II suspension on the way also....... I plan on making this one BETTER than my last one........ Stay tuned.... Did I mention Aubrey gave me a 1972 Grabber.......

Congrats on the new ride! Looks like its gonna make a nice one. :)
And I love my steel Shelby panel. It's so much better than when I had the Fiberglas one in.

Did that 1972 used to belong to Doug Bauer?

Thanks for volunteering my help, Starsky!!!

Honestly, Ed knows where I am, and that I am always willing to help him out with boat and car stuff.

Here is proof, on his maiden voyage out in his new-to-him boat...He still had just a couple bugs to work out that day...;)

By the way, he does work on boats that is just as high-quality as his cars! He is taking a pretty junked out old boat and making it look nicer than new!

Bad news and good news for your daughter too.....

Bad news, she gave away her car.

Good news, she gave it to her Dad, made him very happy, and it's still in the family.

You're up to the part I honestly dislike... Sanding all that Bondo! That's part of the way I got my nick name actually.
