So, I'm thinking about possibly selling my 1972 Grabber. Just thought I would ask you guys what you think it would be worth. It needs body work and paint and some front suspension work. The interior is descent. The rear seat is in good condition, but the front bench needs redone. It had a cover on it when I bought it and the cover has never come off, so I don't know exactly how bad it is. I have a set of bucket seats out of a '96 Mustang that will go with it. It also needs headliner. It has a dash cap, Pioneer CD player, tinted windows, and Grant Racing steering wheel. I believe the rear end and gears are stock. I will also throw in a 1977 Lincoln Versailles that has many goodies to use. What I was thinking about using off of it is: front and rear disk brakes, 9" posi rear end, center console, stock floor shifter(to use or sell), shroud(the Maverick needs a new one), spare 302 engine & trans., and you can even take the rims to the recycling center and get a few bucks because they are aluminum. There might be other stuff, but that is all I can think of off the top of my head. Please let me know what you think. Thanks! :thumbs2: The specs on my Maverick are listed below.

302 cubic inch engine bore 0.030 over

In this current economy....not worth nearly as much as it would have been 4 years ago. And not as much as it will be worth in 3 or 4 years from now. To sell a classic/collectible car right now...it has to be priced below the market....unfortunately. Good Luck with whatever you do.

Thanks Craig! I was thinking about selling it and using the money for another vehicle. I was also thinking about keeping it for another 5 or so years as an investment. So I don't really know what I'm doing.:) You are right, I probably won't get what it is worth right now. I am still curious though as to what I should ask for if I did want to sell it.

Well, even if you can't get what you would've 4 years ago, whatever you buy now will cost less than it did 4 years ago....It's all relative unless you were gonna cash out and throw it in the bank

That's why I was thinking about buying the other car, seems like it could be a good investment. I'm sure it is definitely cheaper than it was 4 years ago.
