I don't get it! I put some 215/60/14 on 14x7s on the front of my 74 and they look nothing like the picks. The front end of my seems to set much higher and the tire look way to small and come no where close to filling the wheel well. Could it be there is a way to lower the front a bit?

You can cut your coil springs to achieve the ride height you are looking for on the front. There are threads on this forum that describe this.

The fronts are the weld alumastar 2.0s, funny thing is there actually Chevy bolt pattern, I have a strange engineering drilled and slotted Brakes kit on the front and they came Chevy bolt pattern, and centerlines that I spray bombed black to somewhat match on the back lol 15 inch all the way around 275 60 15 drag radials, I want the matching rear wheels just having a problem with the fact there $500 a piece lol 20140301_181437.jpg 20140301_181503.jpg

15x4 front with custom made 15x12 rears (7 1/2" back space). Having the rims widened was cheaper than narrowing the rear.

That's an awesome looking car you have there, quickshift. I even like the old-school engine combo too. DOOE heads used to be the shiznit if you didn't want the extra work of the Cleveland stuff. Makes me wish it was still the 70's all over again. Errr, well.. almost.
